You see what happened to Terry Crews when he admitted being a victim of sexual assault. One of the biggest and strongest looking men on tv, and he got roundly mocked…by other men! Many women came out in support because we like Terry, and understand what happened. The men mocking him preferred looking strong to helping their brother.

We also need to talk about child sexual abuse by women. Young boys get sexually abused by adult women fairly often, but the only time it gets discussed is to congratulate these boys for successfully attracting a predator.

There’s a whole lot of f*cked up problems men simply seem to have to deal with alone. More men like you need to talk about it, create the awareness, and form the organizations to deal with these issues, and women have very clearly received the message that men don’t actually care enough about themselves to do any of these things, preferring the illusion of strength, than the healing of vulnerability.
