You can see this all over entertainment fandom. I like to use the example of Candace Patton from The Flash TV show. When she was cast in the role of the love interest of the main white male character, white women showed their whole full-moon ass all over social media. This woman was virulently and very nastily harassed by the female fandom for the entirety of the show's airtime, which lasted about eight or nine years.

They did the exact same thing when Danai Gurira was cast as Michonne in The Walking Dead. OMG! A dark skinned Black woman who the lead character falls in love with, rather than the available lily white blondes who were also on the show? They were outraged.

Its not unheard of in real life either with their unreasonable and completely irrational hatred of all things Megan Markel being well documented. She can't engage in even the most innocuous behavior without them trying to find something negative about it, and her plight elicits not one ounce of sympathy.

But if you were to tell these women that they hate these black women because they themselves are firmly ensconced up white men's asses, and take their regard for granted, you would never hear the end of how "not racist" they insist they are!
