Yes, this clearly sounds like projection to me. Anyone who has spent any amount of time on the types of social media where millennials hang out, like Instagram, Snapchat, and most especially, Tumblr, could never come to the conclusion that they lack empathy.

I am often in awe of the level of emotional connectedness and sophistication I’ve seen displayed by millennials. Their ability to see through society’s lies and delusions, is unprecedented. I certainly didn’t see any of that in the group of people who seem hellbent on diminishing them, and working really hard to cast their own grandchildren as the enemy, by badmouthing them at every opportunity.
