Yes, I’ve been seeing a lot of this disingenuous twattle, myself. Most recently in the “debate” about the Dr. Seuss books, thst were “pulled” by the owners, because they contained racist imagery.

I noticed how everyone wanted to argue the books were harmless, but none of those arguing about the prevalence of “Cancel culture” could be bothered to show the actual imagery under discussion. If it’s so harmless than they shouldn’t have a problem showing their audience what it is. (I also saw a lot of people misnaming the books involved in the pull.)
