Yes! I like to call this The Original Wound, and we all have them because we’ve all grown up in a society where people, parents, all adults, and other kids, all have their own wounds and we enact this pain out on each other just by interacting. Even when you know what that wound is you will still be helpless to stop your reaction when someone triggers it.

I don’t like how more people are interested in punishing Will than they are interested in extending compassion, grace, or even understanding! But then Americans always seem more interested in hurting people than understanding anything!
