Yes, exactly!

I was just thinking that these are the same people who have watched generation after generation (in fact centuries) of written and visual fiction that is nothing but male power fantasies, like the Incredible Hulk (the strongest) , Sherlock Holmes, (the smartest), wish fulfillment characters like Tony Stark, and self insert characters like Luke Skywalker.

For the last several decades white men have been writing other people as their fantasies of what they think Black men are like (loyal sacrificial animals, or brutish criminals), white women are like (virginal innocents or sexpots who desire them alone), and women of color (as unrapeable whores.) But the one thing these stereotypes all have in common is they are there to support the white male character, and prop up their story. That white character is the center of the side characters existence.

White men are always the most powerful, most desirable, the mighty whitey, white savior, the smartest, most astute, and benevolent. Almost every famous male character in fiction is written as a self insert or white male power fantasy.

But let one woman right something she wants to be or feel, or seem and suddenly it becomes a derogatory thing one should never write.
