Yeah I know this is full-on bullshit since no man ever made any statement like this when it came to enslaved Black women, who were not even considered women. Black women worked just as hard in the cotton fields as the men and were given no respite or succor because of their gender, gender which was only recognized when it came to birthing the next generation of enslaved children.
