Yeah, I kind of disagreed with that text because the assumption is that there is only one kind of Rap music. There's at least as many different styles as there are Rappers, its just the kind most likely to be listened to by young men tends to be the less "conscious" stuff. So when these people who know nothing aobut different musical styles come across their teenage boys listening to it they think its the only kind there is. Its like any other music with differing styles.
