Well said, and I do not disagree, but I also think this refusal to diversify our thinking is why the future of this world doesn't lie in the hands of North Americans.

The Japanese have a saying: Fix the problem, not the blame. We've been working for decades to fix the blame, to get those who have caused the most amount of harm to acknowledge the harm they caused, in order to get them to help fix the problem, and it hasn't worked. I think it's time for marginalized people to turn away from that approach, and work on fixing the problems ourselves.
