I have a problem with people who claim they're global citizens, which is kind of right, but at the same time take advantage of, exploit, and ignore, the extreme poverty in the societies they claim to admire so much.

Many of them make no effort, and do not understand the privilege they have of traveling wherever they please, as these "free birds", since a lot of the people in the cultures they love to use as the backdrop for finding themselves, can't just up and leave whenever they feel like it, and many of the "artifacts" these same people love to admire, were created out of sheer necessity.
