We need to acknowledge that this was a test case to see if it could be done, hence why a woman of color was chosen. They’re not concerned with WoC having no kids. They want to force white women to have them, but they have to test these laws out and they start with the most powerless (poor and of color) and then tweak the system so it can work against the more affluent white women they’re really aiming for.
