We cannot form bonds of trust with the Latino community when there are too many of them who wish to align themselves with whiteness. What this woman did was unaaceptable, but not surprising at all.

I applaud those who work with us and are willing to be allies by recognizing a common problem, but there are still too many in that community that want to place themselves as superior to Black people and that simply won't do.
