Those are some interesting factors. I don't know, but I've been pretty good at ruling out opportunistic white women before I get too close to them.

In my friend's case I understood that she valued "friendship", something which was very important to her life (but less so for me because I'm cool with being alone.)

Because I'm a loner, I really didn't know much about how "friendship" actually worked but she paid me the courtesy of actively learning from me, ( I dont know how much she learned about Black people in general, but she learned these things because she wanted to know how to be friends with me, so I returned the favor by learning from her how to be friends with her.)

I think maybe that's the best way to approach it from both sides.
