This story is great (informative, and kinda terrifying) but I feel a slight correction may be in order here: These men tend to be predominantly white (and American) because many them are virulently racist and homophobic. You're not going to see too many men of color, trans- and gay men in these groups (although I'm certain there are a few) because as nasty as their terms for white women are, they have equally nasty terms for Black men, Asian men, and Latinos, the men they think are getting close to the women they think belong to them.

They use most of their energy to hate young, conventionally attractive, white women most of all because those are the women they covet and believe don't want them. They largely ignore women of color, and most women over the age of forty (although they will happily engage in basic mainstream, ageism, racism, and misogyny as well) because woc are not the ones they've been taught their whole lives they're supposed to want.

There are Black men in the "Manosphere" but they're not getting a whole lot of traction in the Black community and are largely (and loudly) condemned by Black women. Black men will sometimes chime in, and yes, they are in general more dangerous to Black women because of their proximity to us, but one thing they don't seem to be doing is forming entire online communities and organizations dedicated to fantasizing about raping and killing us and our children.
