This! One of the reasons Black women did not choose white women in that question of choosing between a white man and a white woman, is because white women have a history of silence. I've watched this happen online over and over and over. Not only will they sit in silence while injustice towards us occurs but expect us to show up to help fight their battles with them with their "we're all in this together rhetoric".
It is a matter of sheer irony that white men have shown up for us online than white women. (I'll go into detail on that in another post.)
White women always want to talk about a sisterhood that simply doesn't exist, because it's a sisterhood that only goes one way, to their benefit. And we also know it doesn't exist because when Black women are being attacked anywhere white women will not (and historically they have not), shown up to defend us.
