This is what they’ve always done. But this is as bold as they were during Jim Crow, and somebody need to let them know, this generation, ain’t the one….

I probably would have handled it much as you did, but I hesitate to wonder how my much younger, physically healthier, and just as protective, sister, would have handled something like this! (Fortunately we live in a Black neighborhood, and all the employees we encounter are the Black people who live here, too.)
