This is what I always do when I’m notified that someone has responded to me. I usually only interact with people whose stories I’ve read. I know they are writing stories, at least.

But you’re right. Racists don’t applaud, they just comment. That’s when I check the profile, see if they’ve left comments elsewhere, and if so, what kind. Have they written any stories? Have they interacted with others on here. If not, I block them, before I even read the comment.
