This is the primary reason I have so little damn patience with the white men who question the competency of women and and black people! Mediocre white men manage to be given the benefit of the doubt and fail upward time and time again, while making it so that no woman or PoC can ever get ahead in any industry by being as awful at their jobs as they seem to be!

Women and PoC who are that damn horrible at their jobs don't get into such positions of power. We have to be two or three times as good, and our records have to be exemplary, to even be given a chance to get in the door of most industries, only to have our intelligence, skills, and competence questioned by men whose only real accomplishments are eating, pooping, breathing, and somehow managing to use a keyboard to type it!
