This is really interesting because a lot of the microagressions we experience stem not necessarily from hatred or resentment, but from deep feelings of insecurity that some white people experience in our presence, so that their microagressions serve as a form of emotional equalization, in a game the Black person often wasn’t even aware they were playing.
