This is part of what it means to be "woke". And if you're not black and don't deal with this kind of behavior its impossible to really know what that term means on that level. I imagine its much the same for those in the LGBTQ community as well, having to maintain a constant awareness all the time lest someone come from out of no and where to bother you.
