This is one of the things I noticed about whiteness. How white people are given the benefit of the doubt no matter how horribly they may have behaved in the past. No matter how bad they are with money! If you come from even a little bit of money you’re automatically trusted, and it’s very very easy to manipulate other white people into giving you more! It’s the reason con men and women often pretend to be wealthy already. They understand that mindset.
