This is how they are. They didn’t have anything to say about their beloved straight White Iron Man, or The Avengers, or the lack of women of color, in the entirety of the first half of the MCU! But as soon as straight white guys stopped being in the center of all these stories their complaint is now that the MCU has become “woke”, a word I’m seriously beginning to hate when these guys use it!

Well they better get used to it because the next phase is going to be introducing even more POC, and women and members of the lgbtq community, if judging by the next five to ten titles to be released. So I’m not exactly sure what it is they hope to accomplish. People who are not straight white guys, also go to the movies and we love those movies too. (Not that I’m indicting straight white men, because they don’t all act a damn fool like this, but that is primarily who these types of complaints come from. I’ve met plenty of white guys who just love seeing their favorite superheroes onscreen, and say so!)
