This is especially insidious when combined with racism! Black women are stereotyped and demonized as being loud and demonstrative. We get called "angry" for talking a lot. Doesn't matter what's being said, the context, or the tone. If we're talking, we're angry.
But it gets worst, because the stereotype of the "angry Black woman" is inescapable. If you're a quiet person (an introvert like myself) it will be assumed that you "have attitude", you're, stuck-up, or...guess what? Angry!
I know women don't talk more than men as social media has very clearly shown everyone.
