This! I hate it when white people in positions of power are “vague” about their answers. If the last four years have taught me nothing else, when white people say vague terms, like “some people”, I get suspicious, because it means they’re covering something up, or about to lie about something! In fact, that vagueness is the definition of the dog whistle anyway. Not being clear and succinct is a sure sign they’re up to no good.
