They like to lob the "unattractive" insult because they believe a woman’s sole purpose in being on this planet is to be physically appealing to men! That ALL women seek outside validation of their womanhood from men, and that they should do just that.

They have no idea how to deal with women who dont make being appealing to men a priority in their life, or who simply do not care. Their narcissism is absolutely incredible, because they really and truly believe that a woman's mind, spirit, and existence revolves around the existence of "a man"! Even when you don't particularly care or don't want them, that too is the fault of a man.
