They are not entirely wrong though. I have observed just how much of attractive women's time gets taken up with men who insist on having long conversations with them (usually about nothing), and how these women have to put up with so much of their time/life being wasted because some guy thinks her time is also his time to shine, or just because HE WANTS to be in the pleasure of her company as much as possible, (because trust me he ain't wasting her time for her benefit.)

One of the bigger pieces of advice I gave my younger sisters, when they were growing up was, that they are absolutely not obligated to give their time, attention, or energy, to any man that simply desires it. That they are pretty women, and that some men will treat their time and attention as if it belongs to them, and that they should give it to them because they demand it.

As an average looking (on my best days I'm just cute) no man expects me to be happy looking every time they wander into my orbit. I'm not expected to be nice or accommodating all the time, lest I be called the infamous "B" word!. One of the biggest perks of invisibility (and I'm sure a lot of men do not understand) is that there are fewer demands from men for constant attention.
