These people didn’t “reason” themselves into being supporters of trump, so I don’t think reason can get them out, or that they can be logicked of fact-checked out of it either. They’re feelings are valid but pointed in the wrong directions, and I’m not sure what emotions one could use to sway them from the irrational path they’ve chosen, and that’s if they can even be swayed. I’ve found that when most people choose an emotional reason for doing something, no matter how irrational, they tend to double down when questioned about it.
