These are some of the questions I was attempting to address in my main two stories on White Male Pandering, about how the vast majority of US entertainment media has been controlled and written by only one group of people, who named everyone else, created and reinforced all the stereotypes, and yet, think they have the nerve to tell everyone else's stories, straight white men!

There can be no authenticity of culture or people if the people in discussion are not involved behind the cameras. And it's not that straight white men can't tell other people's stories. They already have been doing that. But they've been doing that very, very, badly, with almost no insight or even empathy for those they have always declared as "other".
