There’s some good self realization here. Not a lot of people engage in it. This is the reason I moved away from reading about serial killers myself. I realized that although I’d read the names of their victims many times, I barely remembered them. Instead I started reading more about the methods for catching them rather than what they did, so I did read Robert Ressler’s books and Douglas’ Mindhunter, along with books by other crime solvers.

I know all I need to know about Dahmer, having read one of the books written about him in the early 90s when I was going through this phase. I won’t and don’t need to watch the movie. I dont watch any of the movies made about serial killers.
