There's always been a contingent of the male American public who love to check this book out at my library. Usually by guys who seem to think it's a book of life advice. I read that book and I took it as a warning for people I should avoid. I always thought of that and another popular book for these guys, The 48 Laws of Power, as examples of how NOT to treat people, and what to look for to spot wannabe psychopaths. As a Librarian I try not to pass judgement (I fail miserably) because that's not my job, but yeah, I'm judging!
