There’s a much more insidious form of racism where white people express their racial resentment, and any petty grievances they have with Black people, by engaging in pointless negative critiques of things we do, that have absolutely no effect on their lives. When these things are not aimed at us, then these concerns and critiques are aimed at the people who love us.
They dislike Black people, don’t want consequences for their bigotry, and so hide their bigotry behind concerns, intrigues, and scandals, never missing an opportunity to insult or, “just ask questions” (the newest bigotry cop-out these days), or cast everything we do in the most negative light possible.
I’m not saying people can’t be criticized but I have seen that it’s really easy for a lot of racists to hide behind legitimate criticism.
