There are a whole host of problems that have been well catalogued about this show. I stopped watching it a few years ago, when I realized just how much I hated the male characters. I mean HATED them, especially Sheldon, who I wanted to simply slap repeatedly.
The problems had always been there, but as I watched somewhere around two seasons, the show just became too uncomfortable to watch, especially the emasculation by the other characters, of the sole man of color on the show, Raj, who was the only one I actually came close to liking at all.
