Then you should love some of the Slow Cinema films. There's an entire subgenre of films that are meditative, slow, and quiet like this one. Just the antidote to all the noise and bombast of Hollywood films, especially if you're trying to have a quiet day.

I've watched a few. There's little dialogue, the camera isnt moving from shot to shot, and there's not much action, but you get to know all the characters very well.

***Why do people like slow cinema?

In slow cinema, the key technique is the long shot. This forces the viewer to meditate on the image itself, by creating a manipulation in time without actually contributing to the narrative.

Paul Schrader talk about this extensively in his book 'Transcendental style in film'.
