The only reason the Republicans are doing all of this is because teenagers and 8 year olds don't vote. In fact, kids are one of the few groups they can do this to without any real pushback because they're all too young to know what their parents are doing. What they seem to have forgotten is that there are a significant number of LGBTQIA, biracial, black Hispanic and Asian teenagers who will be of voting age by 2024, and they will remember all of this.

Its all just gesturing pointlessness anyway. They can ban all they want but the internet exists and teenagers are some of the most savvy computer users in this country. There are at least a dozen free book sites all over the internet. (I think I'll make a listing over on Tumblr soon.)
