The media is always doing this kind of sht though. For too long the mainstream media has been giving a pass to the atrocious behavior of men in general by passively blaming it on their victims, or acting like what happened to their victims just fell out of the sky and hit them at random.

The mainstream media is always reluctant to blame the people who actually make the choice to do something wrong and call it out, most especially when the culprits are white men. They still find it difficult to call out that mass shooters and serial killers are mostly men, and mostly white, but have seemingly have no problem pointing out when a single Black man commits a crime, and then making it seem as if all Black men are responsible for it.
