The exact same situation happened to me. Fortunately, my brother and his girlfriend were available to sit for me. I don’t know what I would have done without them as I don’t have a lot of friends and the ones I do have work full time, and it almost fell through because his girlfriend wasn’t immediately available. She got surprised and changed her schedule. I was very annoyed at them having to wait during the procedure. Why couldn’t they just pick me up afterwards?
