Hey, here’s an idea, Mr. Clueless Hirschauer, just ask the people directly involved in the protests, exactly what it is they’re protesting for, instead of having their actions defined through the lens of any old white man with a mainstream news platform. Just the kind of man who has a vested interest in seeing that the status quo remains unchanged because he doesn’t think it negatively affects him.

Another galling thing about those who wish to uphold the status quo, isn’t just the complete lack of empathy for those who don’t live like them, but the disingenuous bafflement they like to perform, whenever marginalized people agitate, in any manner, for a change in their status as second class citizens.
