The Chinese Film Industry has many many Asian heroes. This is just a first for the US. Some of the Asian actors over there are some serious mega- superstars, with a backlog of great films under their belts, before they come to this country, where mainstream America doesn't even know their names, and they find that they can't even be cast in movies that are about their own culture!

As for Asian American actors they cant even get a chance to star as accessories in their own stories. This is ridiculous. No matter how many times we prove that women,and poc can make movie money for Hollywood, they still remain steeped in the ol'boy thinking that audiences only want to see white male leads in action films.
