That staircase is a great argument for diversity in design. Had there been a woman in the room someone could have pointed that out. One of the side effects of a lack of inclusion and diversity in the making of any product from movies to tv shows, to music, is that the people involved will design whatever product they’re making for their own comfort, and not only will it not occur to them that other types of people will use that product, but they lack the knowledge to design it to fit other specifications.
