Thank you for writing such a compassionate piece. I’m probably one of five Black people that don’t hate her. I’m trying really hard to understand who she is and where she’s coming from rather than just jumping to condemn her. I feel a tremendous amount of pity for her because there’s just something about her story that resonates deeply with me. I keep being drawn to it and I need to examine why. Maybe by understanding her I might understand something about myself. I don’t know.
