Thank you for this! It is always incredible to me how much all of these things map so easily onto racism and its dynamic, from women's reactions, to the statements from men, to the defensiveness. If only white women could see and understand just how much they have on common with BIPoC, there's so much we could accomplish together, but it seems the biggest obstacle to white women allying themselves with Black, and Lesbian, and transgender women is themselves, of considering themselves white first and then straight, and women afterward.
