Thank you for this! I love studying Hollywood history, I have seen that movie, and I actually think the song is hilarious! I've tried to spend some time explaining to people online that it's not a "rape song". It's a song that hasn't aged well, but that doesn't mean it's about sexual coercion. The young people who came up with that theory know nothing about the movie, the actors, or even the historical context in which it was written and cherry picked the parts of the song they wanted to support their point. It's obvious, even in the song, that the woman wants to stay, and is only making excuses for why she shouldn't. This new interpretation is yet another wrong hot take from someone who just wants to drive attention to their blog or tweets or whatever.
(It's really not all that different from Jamie Foxx's song, Blame It On the Alcohol.)
