Thank you for these stats. I actually agree with the message but think it was reached in error. Just because a handful of us are doing well doesn't mean systemic oppression doesn't exist. It just means we were in a fortunate enough place to not be impacted the same way as our brothers and sisters, and ones good fortune should never be used as an argument for a lack of compassion for others, which is what this piece is skirting too close to.
