Thank you for adding this! This is very true. Black Woman must always look as serene as the Holy Madonna for our opinions to be respected. I’ve never adhered to that mindset. I’ve always fully accepted and displayed my righteous anger, regardless of how others may feel about it, because I know other women simply may not have had that luxury.

For centuries white men have been using white women as a shield, and an excuse, for their shitty behavior, and it’s time white women called them out for that. I hope the women in his life read him the riot act too.
