Some of us do not have the luxury of ignoring someone’s politics, because we live along a spectrum of oppression that precludes that! That’s the province of privileged people who believe they’re unaffected by such things. How do I look as a Black woman dating a any person who votes for someone who is against the interests of the Black community, like voting rights? Or with whom I have to argue the humanity of other groups of people?
