Selena eventually deleted the video of her acting a fool on social media. It was specifically pointed out, by people online, that with her level of wealth (somewhere in the billions category), there is plenty that she could, and still can do, but crying on social media is easier than challenging the powers that be, or being a representative and voice for her people.

I keep telling people to not look to celebrities to save anybody. By the nature of being a celebrity, and being dependent on the industries with which they make their billions, they are already compromised in their opinions. They can't speak too much, too loud, or too forthrightly, (and most of them won't) on most political or social issues, lest they damage their careers.
