Part of this is that men have been socialized to disregard a woman's thoughts and feelings or to equate his thoughts and feelings to hers. Men are taught to believe they are one and the same. That however a man feels she must feel that way too.

Decades of entertainment media says that she is supposed to like him simply because he likes and has chosen her ,and that she must go along with whatever he feels. When you don't behave according to the script he has written in his head...watch out!
