Ooh, don’t get me started, because I will most certainly write a post about that, (and I have a bunch of things I wanna write about already!), and all the fantasy rebellions that have PoC, not just not leading them, but not even present.

And what that tells me is that white people understand the idea of rebellion, why it occurs, and why people should do it, or else they wouldn’t make endless numbers of movies about humans rebelling against oppression, but then will actively work to suppress such ideas in BIPoC, by erasing us from the narratives, entirely.
