On the other hand, DC is tearing it up on TV, as far as gay rep. We’ve got multiple gay characters on Supergirl, a black lesbian in a relationship with an Asian woman in Black Lightning, and despite the awfulness of the trailer, I still have every intention of watching Batwoman. Not even the MCU TV shows have gay characters. (There may be some rep., on that teenage show on Hulu, that I never watched.)

I think it’s much more likely we’ll get representation in a DCEU movie before an MCU film. The MCU needs to get its act together and quit throwing “everyone” these crumbs. I understand that making a movie is a slow process, but I hope they get better at this in the next phase.
