Not in the case of Black men, as was clearly seen in the Birdwatcher instance a few years ago. Although I do agree that white men don't really have anything to worry about, and that their behavior is a bit overdone.
I do wonder however, if the reason they hate being held accountable for creepy behavior bothers them so much, is because on some level they recognize the extreme and stringent standards for behavior they had for Black and Brown men (who they often killed just on the perception that they seemed interested in a white woman). Could they be feeling some type of way because they're afraid of being treated the way they have historically treated other men?
